Science Matters

Our scientists have been busy! We've performed many investigations during our Matter Unit. Here's a glimpse into what we've been up to this week.

Combining vinegar...

with baking soda...

...and creating carbon dioxide to demonstrate how gas expands!



This video captures the excitement I get to see everyday. One of the many reasons I love teaching Science...

We also observed matter changing states from a liquid to a solid by making...

...ICE CREAM!

That's some seriously delicious learning! :)

  5. Alex comes home so excited about what he has learned, wanting to share and recreate the experiments at home. (We did the balloon one, but not the ice cream yet.) You really manage to engage the students and make the concepts real to them. Keep up the wonderful job!
