World of the Caddo

*Parents, this is an in-class assignment.

Today you are going to be virtual archeologists! You will uncover facts about some of the first people in Texas, the Caddos. Tomorrow you will begin your very own book about the Caddo people, so make sure you are active learners today. :)

  1. It was fun, it was interesting that they didn't wear very much clothes, and to replace clothes they had nose rings and tattoos, but the women had clothes ( luckily ) so did the men, but the men didn't have much on.

  8. I loved how they had the scavenger hunt on the caddo's village life!!!!!! also how they asked you a question and we had to click on the part of the picture we thought it was!!!!!!!!

  10. A lot of the things were intresting! Like the virtual muesem, how the caddos could make a house in just one day, the stuff about the mounds they build, all of that was so intresting!!

  12. It's cool that one of the houses got hit by a storm and leaned to the side.Im suprised it stayed up I thought it blew down but it didn't.

  16. I learned that Caddos burned a house when someone in their tribe died.The person who died was laid inside the house with items as offerings.
