I learned that LaBelle has been discovered and people are working to put it all together.I wonder why La Salle named his ship LaBelle.
ReplyDeleteHi guys! I learned that a Texas A&M student (gig em!) proved that inside the "Mystery chest" there were fishing gear, weapons, ect. A question I have is when was the LaBelle discovered and how did they know it was the LaBelle?
ReplyDeleteToday I learned that they had to use a magnet(s) to try and attract artifacts that were iron or steel. This allowed them to find out what boat it was.
ReplyDeleteWhy were the ships different sizes?I learned what the La Belle looked like from front to back.
ReplyDeleteI learned that the La Belle was not that big for size. I am also wondering how many people could fit in one room because there are so many.
ReplyDeleteI learned that a magnetometer is basically an electronic device that records anomalies in the Earth's magnetic field caused by iron objects in the ocean floor. A question I have is how long did it take to uncover the LaBelle?
ReplyDeleteI learned and saw the LaBelle from front hull to rear hull.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that I discovered is that archaeologists use a concentric wall to help them uncover La Belle. I also learned that wood is very hard to preserve in water, so it was a miracle that La Belle was in pretty good condition for all those years.A question I have is, why aren't there as many shipwrecks far way from the cost?
