Bright Lights

Today in social studies we talked about the past, present, and future. We read September 12th We Knew Everything Would Be All Right and after a brief discussion about September 11, 2001, we looked ahead.

We shared ideas about how could remember 9/11 by showing gratitude and brainstormed specific ways we could help others in need.

We talked about how, even in the darkest of times, we can not only look for the light...but be the light.

What bright lights we have shining among us. Today I am grateful for each and every one of them.
