ReplyDeleteSome nicknames we found were buffalo clover, wolf flower, El conjo as the mexicans call it.
We loved learning all about what the colors on the Texas flag represent.
ReplyDeleteWe also liked everything else too, but we liked learning about the flag most.
My favorite part of this project was looking up the state bird . The mocking bird!

ReplyDeleteI loved and enjoyed learnig about the state bird.THE MOCKING BIRD!It was also intresting to know when it was adompted as the state bird which was the year of 1927.
ReplyDeleteI liked learning about the state bird because for some reason, i thought it was the HUMMINGbird not the MOCKINGbird. Very confusing. I also liked learning about paraphrasing because I had sort forgot how and it was a good reveiw.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite fact that I learned is that the smallest park in U.S(the Acton Park ) was used to bury Davy Crockett 2nd wife.
